How does AuraDrive work?
AuraDrive uses ultrasonic atomization technology to turn your favorite liquid fragrance into a fine, pressurized mist. It features an intelligent vibration sensor that detects when your engine starts, activating the device automatically, and enters sleep mode after 4 minutes of inactivity.
Can I use my own perfume or cologne?
Absolutely — and that's exactly the point. AuraDrive was designed around one idea: your car should smell like you, not like everyone else's. The device is fully refillable with any high-quality perfume, cologne, or essential oil you already wear. Note: extremely thick or undiluted essential oils may require slight dilution with water for optimal mist density.
How do I fill the reservoir bottles?
For best results, fill each bottle to approximately ¾ capacity with water first, then add 4 to 5 sprays of your chosen fragrance directly into the bottle. Adjust the number of sprays based on your preferred intensity — more sprays for a stronger scent, fewer for something subtle. Close the bottle firmly before inserting it into the device.
What are the scents included in the box?
The 3 fragrances included with your AuraDrive are complimentary sample scents, provided exclusively to let you test and calibrate the device from day one. They are not part of our product line and we are not a fragrance retailer. AuraDrive is a precision hardware device — the scent is yours to choose. That's the whole philosophy: every driver is unique, every car is unique, and your signature scent should be too.
What are the 3 intensity modes?
AuraDrive features three diffusion modes, selectable with a single click:
- Subtle (green light) — a gentle mist every 300 seconds. Ideal for short commutes or sensitive environments.
- Balanced (blue light) — a moderate mist every 90 seconds. The recommended everyday setting.
- Intense (purple light) — a full mist every 10 seconds. For longer drives or when you want maximum presence.
How do I charge the device?
AuraDrive is USB-C rechargeable. For battery longevity and to protect the ultrasonic sensor, we strictly recommend charging via your car's USB port (5V/1A output). Avoid fast-charging adapters — the high voltage of modern smartphone chargers (9V, 12V, PD or QC) can damage the internal circuit. This is precision engineering, not a limitation.
How long does the battery last?
On Subtle mode, the battery can last several weeks between charges. On Intense mode, expect a few days of continuous use. The intelligent sleep sensor ensures zero battery drain when your car is parked and the engine is off.
Will it fit my car's air vents?
AuraDrive features a universal vent clip designed to fit the vast majority of horizontal and vertical vent slats across all major car brands — sedans, SUVs, and trucks included. If you have unusually narrow or wide vent slats, contact us before ordering and we'll advise.
Is AuraDrive safe to use while driving?
Completely. The device operates automatically via the vibration sensor — no buttons, no distractions. Once set up, you never need to touch it while driving. The mist is ultrafine and dissipates instantly without affecting visibility or air quality.
Shipping & Orders
How long will it take to receive my AuraDrive?
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping delivers within 7–12 business days for the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and the European Union. For the United Arab Emirates, standard delivery takes 7–12 business days via our regional logistics partner, with occasional customs checks adding 2–5 days in rare cases. You will receive a tracking number via email within 24–48 hours of dispatch.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently serve customers across the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, the European Union, and the United Arab Emirates, with free standard shipping on every order. If your country is not listed at checkout, contact us at hello@theauradrive.com and we'll do our best to help.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Every AuraDrive order ships fully tracked. Your tracking link will be sent to your email within 24–48 hours of dispatch. If you haven't received tracking information after 3 business days, contact us at hello@theauradrive.com.
What shipping options do you offer?
We offer two shipping options at checkout:
- Standard Shipping — Free — Fully tracked delivery (7–12 business days for USA/Canada/UK/Australia/New Zealand/EU/UAE). Every order ships with a tracking number sent to your email within 24–48 hours of dispatch.
- Priority Shipping — $4.99 USD — Faster dispatch, fully tracked and prioritized in our fulfillment queue. Estimated delivery in 5–8 business days (USA/Canada/UK/Australia/New Zealand/EU only; not currently available for the UAE).
Both options deliver your AuraDrive safely to your door. Priority Shipping is ideal if you want yours sooner.
Why might my order be delayed at customs?
AuraDrive ships with 3 complimentary fragrance samples. Because the package contains liquid, it may occasionally be flagged for routine inspection by customs authorities in your country. This is a standard procedure and does not indicate any problem with your order. If this happens, your tracking will show a customs hold status — this typically resolves within 2–5 additional business days without any action required on your part. In the rare event that customs applies an import fee or inspection charge (including UAE VAT, where applicable), this cost falls outside our control and is the responsibility of the customer. Returns & Guarantee
What is your return policy?
We offer free returns within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, the item must be unused, unopened and in its original packaging. Items that have been filled with fragrance cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
What if my AuraDrive arrives damaged?
Contact us at hello@theauradrive.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item. We will cover all return costs and send a replacement at no charge.
What does the 1-Year Guarantee cover?
The optional 1-Year Guarantee, available at checkout at a small additional cost — price displayed in your local currency, covers any manufacturing defects or electronic failures under normal use conditions. If your device stops working within the guarantee period, we will replace it free of charge — no questions asked.
Is there any risk of leaking?
AuraDrive™ is precision-engineered with a reinforced silicone gasket to ensure a spill-proof seal. However, to protect your vehicle’s interior, always ensure the glass reservoir is tightened firmly before use. Please note that while we guarantee the device’s mechanical integrity, AuraDrive™ is not liable for damages caused by liquid spillages or the use of corrosive third-party fragrances.
